Loup Bureau (b. 1990) is a French war journalist, whose directorial debut is the documentary film Trenches. As a journalist, Bureau has reported on the events of the Arab Spring, the Syrian War and the Donbas War. His documentary shows how Ukrainian soldiers live in the trenches through bombings, just like soldiers in the First World War. Trenches premiered in the Venice Film Festival, and takes part in DocPoint’s International Competition.
